DM Moopen Medical College was founded in 2013 also popularly known as DM Wayanad Medical College, located in Wayanad, Kerala. It is also the first Medical College Hospital in North Kerala and one of the few Medical College Hospitals in the country. A 700 bedded teaching hospital is functioning in the Medical College campus which will be upgraded to 1000 beds capacity later. Out of the total 1000 beds to be made available, 650 will be teaching beds and the remaining will be for medical services.
