Government Medical College & Hospital, Patiala is a renowned government medical institution in Punjab, established in 1953 and is among the oldest medical colleges in the state. The college is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It offers a wide range of postgraduate MD and MS courses across clinical, para-clinical and pre-clinical specialties, supported by extensive clinical training at its attached teaching hospitals.
