NTA Launches New Portal to Report Fake NEET UG 2026 Claims and Paper Leak Rumours
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rolled out a fresh online facility allowing students, parents, coaching centres, and the general public to flag fake or misleading information linked to the NEET (UG) 2026 exam. The announcement came through an official public notice dated 15 June 2026, just days ahead of the scheduled test on 21 June 2026.
Why NTA Introduced This Reporting System
With NEET UG 2026 around the corner, the exam conducting body wants to clamp down on rumours, scams and impersonation attempts that often surface before major entrance tests. The agency says the move is aimed at protecting the credibility and fairness of the examination process for lakhs of medical aspirants across the country.
What Can Be Reported on the New Platform
According to the notice, users can flag the following types of suspicious activity:
- Websites, social media handles, or messaging groups falsely claiming to have the NEET UG 2026 question paper or answer key
- People or groups offering leaked papers, exam content, or "guaranteed results" in return for payment
- Individuals pretending to be NTA staff, exam officials, or government representatives
- Any other content designed to confuse, scare, or financially defraud candidates and their families
How to Submit a Complaint
People reporting an incident are asked to share key details, including what happened, where it was seen (website, app, or social media platform) and the exact date and time it occurred. Supporting proof such as screenshots, links, or documents can also be uploaded if available.
