The Second Tashkent State Medical Institute was established in 1990 under the directive of the cabinet ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This establishment was the outcome of merging the old and new Tashkent structures, forming two separate medical institutes – the First and Second Tashkent Medical Academy, both located in Tashkent.
