Chintpurni Medical College Pathankot was established in the year 2011. It is one of the private medical colleges in Punjab. The College is popularly known as CMC Pathankot. The College is affiliated with Baba Farid, the University of Health Science and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Chintpurni Medical College in Pathankot is having serious problems with its recognition. The National Medical Commission (NMC) stopped recognizing the college because it lacked good facilities and enough qualified teachers. This means that new students cannot enrol in the MBBS program. The college is trying to fix these problems through legal actions, but the ban is still in place as of 2024.
