Kakatiya Medical College Warangal was established in 1959 by the Warangal Regional Medical Education Society with the active support of then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, the Director of Medical Services of A.P and the Warangal District Collector to provide medical education for register of the Telangana region of the state. It is one of the best Medical Colleges in Telangana. KMC Warangal is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
