AIIMS Raipur Invites Applications For Master Of Public Health Course 2024: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, is now accepting online applications for the entrance examination for the Master of Public Health (MPH) course for the 2024 session. Interested candidates must complete the application form by registering through the link provided in the advertisement. The deadline to submit the application is June 2, 2024.

The entrance test is set for Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at AIIMS Raipur. The admit cards for the MPH course entrance exam will be issued on June 17, 2024. Candidates will receive their admit cards via the email address provided in their application form well before the exam date.

The MPH course lasts 2 years and has a total of 6 seats available for sponsored category candidates: 4 for UR, 0 for EWS, 1 for ST, 0 for SC, and 1 for OBC.

To prevent any issues during the application process for the MPH course 2024 session, AIIMS Raipur has published an advertisement outlining the educational qualifications, application fee, course fee, and other essential information.

HOW TO APPLY

1 Applicants must fill in all the fields carefully, as any requests to change information after submitting the online application will NOT be accepted.
2 Candidates are asked to accurately fill in their name, age, sex, caste, address, educational qualifications, and other relevant fields in the application.
3 Candidates should note that their application will be considered INCOMPLETE unless the Application Fee is paid.

PHOTOGRAPHS

i The photograph must be a recent, passport-sized color photo with a preferably white background.
ii Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not permitted. Religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover the face.
iii Preferred dimensions are 200 x 230 pixels.
iv The JPG file size should be between 80 KB and 100 KB. Make sure the scanned image size does not exceed 100 KB.

SIGNATURE

i. The applicant must sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
ii. The signature will be used on the Hall Ticket and where required.
iii. If the applicant's signature on the answer script during the examination does not match the signature on the Hall Ticket, they will be disqualified.
iv. Preferred dimensions are 140 x 60 pixels.
v. File size should be between 50 KB and 80 KB.
vi. Ensure that the scanned image size is not more than 80 KB.

APPLICATION FEE AND MODE OF PAYMENT

1. For General/OBC Category: Rs. 1500/- plus applicable Transaction Charges.
2. For SC/ST/EWS Category: Rs. 1200/- plus applicable Transaction Charges.
3. PWBD Candidates are exempted from the Fee.

Candidates must pay the application fee online only. Ensure confirmation of successful payment from your bank and retain proof for document verification. The application fee is non-refundable.

Candidates bear additional charges like bank fees incurred during online payment. Print the receipt for future reference.

Payment through modes like Cash, Cheque, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Pay Orders, Banker's Cheques, Postal Stamps, etc., will not be accepted. Such applications will be rejected. The decision of the AIIMS Raipur Director in this matter is final and binding.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION FOR CANDIDATES

Candidates with qualifications in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS, B Tech or BE (any branch), B.V.Sc., Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, or Postgraduate degrees in Statistics/Biostatistics, Demography, Population Studies, Nutrition, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Management, or Law are eligible.

METHOD OF SELECTION

The entrance test will consist of a written exam totaling 100 marks, comprising 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The syllabus for the entrance exam covers Population Sciences, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, National Health Programs, Computer Knowledge, and English.

FINAL RESULT

The final result will be determined by the total marks obtained in the Written Examination. Percentile scores will determine eligibility for admission, with candidates needing to achieve a 50th percentile mark. The merit list will be arranged according to percentile scores.

Candidates selected based on their percentile in the entrance examination will undergo document verification. The final list of selected candidates will be prepared based on eligibility criteria being met in all aspects.

IMPORTANT POINTS

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PWBD categories must provide a certificate issued by a Competent Authority, as per the format provided by AIIMS Raipur, for the purpose of the application fee.

OBC (NCL) certificates should be issued within one year of the last date for application, i.e., between June 1, 2023, and June 2, 2024.

EWS certificates must be issued on or after April 1, 2024, up to the last date of application submission, i.e., June 2, 2024, based on the income of the year 2023-24.

ST/SC/PWBD certificates should be issued before the last date of application, i.e., June 2, 2024.
