Additionally, candidates can submit representations against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question challenged.
Candidates must make the fee payment through debit card, credit card, or net banking by May 31, 2024, until 11:50 PM. Challenges will not be considered without receipt of the processing fee and will not be accepted through any other method.
"Challenges submitted by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If a candidate's challenge is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised and applied to all candidates' responses accordingly. The final result will be prepared and declared based on the revised answer key. Individual candidates will not be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The answer key finalized by the experts after the review will be final," the notice stated.

Visit the NTA official website.

Click on ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge(s)’.

Select your Test Booklet Code.

Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth, enter the Security PIN as displayed, and submit.

6. Candidates need to select the question(s) they wish to challenge in the recorded response.
7. The number next to the question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ represents the option chosen by the candidate in the OMR answer sheet.
8. Once a candidate selects a question for challenge, they will see three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’.
9. If the candidate wants to challenge an option, they should use the options provided in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.
10. After selecting the desired option for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, or Zoology for NEET (UG) 2024, scroll down, click ‘Submit’, and proceed to the next screen.
11. The candidate will see a screen displaying the challenges.
12. Click on ‘Submit’ and then ‘Pay Fee Finally’.
13. Select the mode of payment and pay a processing fee of ₹200 for each question/grade challenged. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
14. After successful payment, download or print the answer key challenge receipt.
The NTA conducted NEET UG 2024 for over 24 lakh candidates at 4750 centers in 571 cities across the country, including 14 cities outside India, on May 5, 2024 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM (IST).
