30 Jul, 2024

The National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam city information will be released on July 31. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will send the assigned test city details to candidates via their registered email IDs. The NEET PG 2024 admit card will be available on August 8. The medical entrance exam is scheduled for August 11 for admissions into postgraduate medical programs.

Following the receipt of candidates' preferred test city choices, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will inform candidates of their assigned test city via email on July 31, 2024, to their registered email IDs. The NEET PG city allotment for 2024 was initially scheduled for July 29.

The medical board has also announced that the NEET PG exam center venue in the allotted test city will be communicated through the NEET PG admit card 2024, which will be issued on August 8, 2024, on the website natboard.edu.in.

Registered candidates were allowed to select their preferred test cities from a list of 185 cities between July 19 and July 23. They were asked to choose four test cities within the state of their correspondence address. During this selection window, many candidates faced issues such as a slow website, login problems, and confusion regarding the options.

For the first time, the exam will be conducted in two shifts. The PG medical entrance exam was postponed a day before the previously scheduled date "to maintain the integrity of the examination process." According to the marking scheme, the paper will contain 200 multiple-choice questions and will be time-bound. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, and 0.25% of marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
