NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city and centre-specific results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) on neet.ntaonline.in. In the recent NEET UG 2024 Supreme Court hearing, the Court instructed the NTA to publish the NEET UG results separately on the official website while concealing the students’ identities. The NEET controversy arose following paper leak allegations and the subsequent awarding of grace marks by the NTA.

A bench consisting of Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra will continue to hear more than 40 petitions regarding NEET cancellation, re-examination, and actions against the NTA on July 22. NEET 2024 took place on May 5, with over 24 lakh medical aspirants appearing in 4,750 cities. The NTA released the NEET UG results on June 4, where 67 candidates were declared as toppers.
Shortly after the results were announced, controversy surrounding NEET 2024 arose, with allegations of a paper leak, unfair distribution of grace marks, and exam irregularities. Numerous students protested, demanding a re-NEET, the dissolution of the NTA, and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Meanwhile, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has requested medical colleges to input the number of available MBBS seats for NEET UG counselling 2024 on mcc.nic.in. The counselling dates for the NEET 2024 All India Quota (AIQ) will be announced following the Supreme Court’s final decision on the NEET re-test.
