Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024 Counselling Schedule Announced; Registration Starts Today: The counselling will cover 85% of state quota seats and all seats in private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. Known for its top-quality medical education, Tamil Nadu admits students through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), an exam run by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Selection Committee of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research in Tamil Nadu has listed the required documents for undergraduate medical counselling under the state quota.

How to Apply

  • Step I: The candidate must visit the official website. 
  • Step 2: Candidates should fill out the form online on www.tnhealth.org and submit the filled-in online application form after uploading the details in the required fields. With necessary enclosures, students should send the printout filled in an online application form.
  • Step 3: The cost of the application form, which is Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only), should be paid through the Bank payment portal on the websites or through the Demand Draft that is drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10” payable at Chennai.
  • Step 4: Students should send the Application form to THE SECRETARY, SELECTION COMMITTEE, 162, PERIYAR E.V.R. HIGH ROAD, KILPAUK, CHENNAI – 10.
  • Step 5: Then, the Merit List will be published. The “Save & Continue” button.
  • Step 6: And finally, the Result will be published.
  • Step 7: Students must undergo Document Verification, fee submission, and reporting.
  • Step 8: Students can go for the up-gradation or surrender their seats.
  • Step 7: A person is eligible to participate in the Mop-up round if, after the 2nd round, there is no allotment.
