Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), the first private higher education institution in Uzbekistan, was established as Yeoju Technical Institute in 2018 and later renamed in 2019. The university offers Bachelor's and Master's programs in full-time, extramural, and evening formats in Uzbek, Russian and English. It has international and local faculty from prestigious universities worldwide. KIUT provides 28 Bachelor's and 20 Master's programs across five educational schools. It has branches in Namangan (2021) and Samarkand (2022). In 2022, it became one of the first non-state universities in Uzbekistan to receive international accreditation from KAZSEE and IQAA and was listed in the European EQAR database. KIUT's degrees are fully recognized in Uzbekistan.
