JEE Mains 2025 April Day 2 Concludes: Check Expected Cutoff for JEE Advanced
NEW DELHI: JEE Mains 2025 is expected to require general category candidates to score around the 94 percentile to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025. Experts have analyzed the exams conducted so far and arrived at this estimate based on the overall difficulty level and trends observed.

The JEE Main April 3 exam took place in two shifts and candidates reported significant differences in difficulty levels. Students in the second shift described the exam as moderate to tough, with Physics and Maths being manageable but Chemistry notably difficult. In contrast, those who appeared in the first shift found the paper easier, rating Physics and Maths as easy to moderate and Chemistry as very easy.
Due to the variation in difficulty across shifts, experts have found it challenging to predict the exact cutoff score. To ensure fairness, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will normalize scores from all sessions. NTA will release the final results of the JEE Main April session including the cutoff for JEE Advanced 2025 and candidates' All India Ranks by April 17 on its official website.
